HOUSING FOR ALL is a new initiative for the City of Largo that will explore opportunities to encourage and realize a wide variety of housing types throughout the City.
With rising costs, now is a critical time to set city policies and standards to ensure the housing supply meets the needs of various households and supports a high quality of life for our community. This project advances Largo’s Strategic Plan to build a community of safe & healthy neighborhoods.

It includes:
  • A housing needs analysis with projections over the next 10 years
  • Evaluation of City codes as well as model codes from other jurisdictions
  • Recommended code changes that allow different types/scale of housing to serve various housing needs
  • Graphic depictions on model sites in Largo to visually explain the potential changes
The initiative is a partnership of the following agencies:
  • The City of Largo
  • Partners for Economic Solutions - Consultant Team Lead/Housing Analysis & Policy
  • Dover, Kohl & Partners - Engagement/Urban Design and Town Planning
  • Spikowski Planning Associates -  Zoning Code Analysis
  • Applied Sciences - Stormwater Code Analysis
  • Muro Management - Mobile Home Transition Process
