Energage Team Survey Results

The results are in and thank you to all team members who completed the 2022 Employee Engagement Survey! The survey was completed in November 2022 and measured team member engagement and overall workplace culture including an awareness of the organization's mission, vision, and values. This annual survey is important to our growth as an organization because we know that team member input is essential to reach our vision. City Leadership is proud of a total response rate of 60% which increased from last year and an increase in overall employee engagement up to 65%. The national benchmark for engagement is 63%. The results highlighted our strengths, including well-informed team members, strong supervisors, and a workplace where new ideas are encouraged. Your input also helped identify areas of opportunity to enhance an inclusive workplace with efficient and collaborative processes. Culture Badges
The Executive Leadership Team reviewed the overall city-wide survey results together to identify opportunities that support our journey toward high performance. Some key city-wide takeaways include the importance of making good use of meeting time and supporting interdepartmental cooperation. Respondents noted that new and diverse ideas are encouraged while there is an opportunity for improvement ensuring team members feel appreciated and aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Department leadership is currently reviewing department-specific results and as a next step will be setting up meetings in their teams to review departmental data in order to build on successes and identify action items that can help improve overall engagement.
