Sewer Water

Sewer water is any water that leaves your home or business through your drains. Find out where it goes and how you can avoid costly sewer overflows on your property or view utility rates.  For issues related to sewer water please visit our "Report an Issue" page. For information on commercial oil disposal, call 727-518-3082.

How can you help keep your drain clean?

Fight F.O.G.
Fats, oils and grease that are poured down any drain can build up and block your sewer at home or work, causing nasty and costly sewer overflows. All of the following should be thrown away instead of being poured down the drain: Cooking Oil, Butter, Grease, Fat, Gravy, Mayonnaise, Sauces, and Salad Dressings.
Recycle Cooking Oil
Visit Largo's 24 Hour Recycling Drop off Center (1551 Starkey Road) to recycle your used cooking oil to prevent backups and overflows in your home, or let the oil cool and place it in your trash can.
A Toilet is not a Trash Can
Be sure to never place any items in your toilet, even "flushable wipes" as they can block your drain and cause backups in homes and businesses.
