Keep Largo Litter-Free: Put Trash in its Place

The City of Largo is dedicated to litter prevention and removal within our community and encourages our residents to do the same. Littering on roadways, in parks, waterways, and neighborhoods affects the environment, lowers property values, and isn't something residents want to see in their community. Here are some suggestions to reduce litter:

  • Put your trash in a bin
  • Take trash with you if no bin is available
  • Keep a bag in your car to collect garbage
  • Put cigarette butts in a butt bin or ordinary bin when extinguished
  • Have a container in your vehicle to collect cigarette butts
  • Buy less packaging and use reusable containers
Explore more ways you can be involved in anti-litter efforts and take pride in Largo, or email [email protected] to request a presentation.
