Development Review Process

The development review process guides citizens, developers, and builders in the processing of development approvals including small scale site plans, full scale site plans, conditional uses, and hardship relief.

DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE (DRC)
The Development Review Committee (DRC) consists of an interdepartmental team, including team members from Planning, Building, Economic Development, Engineering, Police, Fire,  Solid Waste, Environmental Services, Recreation Parks and Arts, and Public Works. The committee reviews full scale site plan applications, with meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 9:30am to 11am. The applicant is present to provide comments on the submitted site plans. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. A maximum of two appointments are scheduled for each session. To make an appointment for a complimentary Pre-DRC meeting or a DRC , contact the Planner-On-Call at 727-587-6749 Ext. 7301 or [email protected].
