What things should I keep in mind about fire inspections?
Always be sure to contact your fire inspector when emergency contact information changes!
In the event of an emergency, it is important that we are able to contact the correct individual. By providing us with up to date emergency contact information we can make contact as quickly as possible.
If your property has a KnoxBox, notify us when keys change!
A KnoxBox provides rapid entry for emergency services, but only if the keys inside are current. If locks are rekeyed, contact your inspector to switch them out.
Any/all work done to life safety systems, such as sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems MUST be done by a licensed company!
Always check with the applicable building department regarding permitting requirements before beginning work.
