Whatever
the reason for becoming a V.I.T.A.L. (Volunteer in the Arts, Largo)
volunteer you will find flexible hours, friendly, supportive staff and
performances that are entertaining and exciting,
Almost 300 volunteers contribute nearly 9,000 hours annually. They come from diverse background and range in age from 14 to 90+. They bring different skills and interests to the job, but all enjoy working together to serve the community. As a benefit, theater volunteers are able to enjoy the performance for free!

FAQ's
Is there a minimum age to volunteer?
Concession volunteers must be at least 18 year of age. Most of our office or theater tasks have no minimum age. Each applicant must successfully pass an interview.
What should I wear?
When working, VITAL volunteers wear a white shirt or blouse with black slacks or skirt and comfortable, dark, closed toe shoes. A vest is provided to complete the "look".
How much time must I give?
There is no minimum (or maximum) number of hours you must work.
What about earning service hours for school?
Volunteer hours may apply to service learning project hours for school credit or the Bright Futures program. Before starting a program, students should discuss volunteering with their counselors.
How do I become a volunteer?
The first step is to download and complete our application. There is a separate application for student volunteers. After you've completed the application, call our volunteer coordinator to arrange an interview and tour of the facility. We provide more formal training opportunities several times throughout the year.
