The City of Largo's Emergency Operations Center closely monitored Hurricane Idalia and its impact on the community. The City will resume regular operations on Thursday, August 31.
City Specific Updates as Wednesday, August 30 at 5pm:
- Team members carefully completed a detailed damage assessment, including all city facilities, right of ways, and residential communities
- Assessments have revealed only minimal damage
- City facilities will reopen to the public for normal business hours on Thursday, August 31, including:
- Largo City Hall
- Largo Public Library
- Highland Recreation Complex and Family Aquatic Center
- Southwest Recreation Complex and Pool
- Largo Community Center
- Central Park Performing Arts Center
- Largo Golf Course
Solid Waste and Collections
- Solid waste residential collections will remain as scheduled
- Commercial collections will resume to normal on Thursday, August 31
